Tom Carter has been involved with the arts all of his life. He earned a BFA in Drawing and Painting and a BA in Art History at the University of Colorado/Boulder, a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Colorado/Boulder, and pursued but never completed his PhD in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University.
He has taught Fine Arts and Art History at Regis University/Denver, the University of Northern Colorado/Greeley and the University of Colorado/Boulder. He has worked at several galleries while living in Seattle, WA and started and was the managing partner in an architectural and interior stone business in Seattle, WA as well. He has studied Interior Design at the New York School of Interior Design and has been doing design work for family, friends and clients for many years. He moved back to Colorado in the early 2000’s and has worked HW Home as well as being hired to open and co-manage a high end antique and gift store in Boulder, CO.
